Trainee Program

The development of the Qatari workforce, through proper education and training, is now a primary national objective designed to enhance the development march in the country.

Milaha offers a special program called “Alnokheda” to Qatari nationals as part of its attempts to foster and develop local talent.

It’s an 18-month training and development program that allows Qataris to demonstrate their learning along the way. Rotations, training courses, coaching, and mentoring will all be part of this program.

In 2005, after graduating from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, I  started working onboard the ships of Milaha where I had the chance to gain experience and improve my skills. Internship Program:

The Internship Program at Milaha is an effective way for students to gain exposure to a real work environment and helps them to make informed decisions regarding their future employment. The target is to provide high school Qatari Students with practical work experience. University and College students will have the opportunity to complete a mandatory work term period which is essential for their college program. It is also an opportunity for the company to evaluate students and consider them for future employment.

The Milaha Internship Program is recommended for students who have completed their 2nd Academic Year and runs for a duration of 4 to 8 weeks. The students will be assigned to Supervisor who will act as mentor and work closely with them to identify their strengths and areas requiring further development. At the end of the Internship, each student will be awarded a Certificate confirming their completion of the Program.
