Long-term Portfolio

  • Manage a large portfolio of blue chip company stocks with a long term investment horizon
  • Portfolio represents a good percentage of the Qatar Exchange Index

Active Portfolio (Prop Book)

  • Actively manage the listed equity portfolio fully invested in the Qatari stock exchange
  • Have an experienced in-house team who actively overseas the portfolio with the target of outperforming the Qatar Exchange Index by identifying undervalued/overvalued stocks
  • Milaha Capital’s active portfolio has outperformed the Qatar Exchange Index by 14.3%, 10.4% and 1.8% in 2014, 2015 and 2016, respectively”.
  • Milaha Capital has a relatively large portfolio of real estate assets that are spread across Qatar with exposure in the residential, commercial and showrooms/retail market.
  • Property management is proactively handled by our in-house team whilst facility management services for our investment properties are substantially outsourced.
  • Investment properties represent the majority of Milaha Capital’s real estate portfolio in terms of property values.
  • The revenue recognition methodology adopted for our investment properties constitutes the rental income earned during the leased period and does not include revaluation of our investment portfolio. In addition, development projects do not contribute to revenues through revaluations either.
